Not really. But it's 2 AM. Been up four times in the last hour and half, so the sarcasm is running full tilt.
Anyway. Not-so-fun-fact about autism: those with autism often engage in repetitive behaviors or mannerisms, get stuck in loops. The arm-flapping, waving, spinning mindlessly. They can also repeat complex behaviors; ie: one of Zack's favorites, running across the room, jumping into a recliner, running back across the room, touching the couch, running back to the recliner...etc.
Tonight, he's convinced he has to pee. I just got up for the....mmm....fifth time? Can't take too much credit, Abby handled the first three.
We are in the middle of potty training, and he's just discovered the wonder of not wetting his diapers. Could be just that. Still, the tiring thing about autism is that something I could explain to a three-year old, maybe enforce by NOT letting him get up, I can't with him. He doesn't understand. He's looping and stuck in a pattern. If I try to make him stay in bed, he'll go into hysterics and throw a full-tilt fit, wake up his sister and everyone else.
Oh well. I get up to write in 45 minutes anyway. Might as well get a head start....
